While you are here for your vacation or retreat, there are 2 great music events that happen weekly in Townsend.  Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center has music every Friday night at 7:00 p.m.  The cost if $5.00, and it’s a variety of music that includes blue grass.   On Saturday night, check out the Pickin’ Porch behind Wood ‘n’ Strings, a dulcimer shop.  They start the music at 7:00 p.m. and it is always dulcimers and sometimes guitars.  It is free.  See you there!
