Tuckaleechee Retreat Center in the Smoky Mountains

A Christian organization owned and operated by Children’s Bible Ministries, located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
Tuckaleechee Retreat Center was purchased in 2000 to house the CBM national office, for use as a training facility for new CBM
missionaries as well as current CBM area directors and staff, and to practice the ministry of hospitality.
When CBM is not using the facilities, TRC is rented out for retreats, reunions, celebrations, or family getaways. Any profit from TRC
rentals is deposited into the CBM general fund to be used to promote the work of CBM.

Our TRC guests include many churches and families who come here year after year; hence, a good testimony to the hard work
put in to keep this property in tip-top shape. We also welcome couples and/ or families who want to come for a special getaway or vacation.
We have six cabins of various sizes that we will rent for a group or as individual rentals. CBM was blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ with
the management of these 53 acres of land in Townsend, TN. As stewards of this land, the staff of CBM national and TRC feel strongly that they are to keep up this facility to the best of their abilities. Thus, the buildings are kept clean and well appointed, the grounds are nicely landscaped, and maintenance and upgrades are done regularly.

Children’s Bible Ministries

The purpose of Children’s Bible Ministries (CBM) is teaching the Bible, evangelizing the unreached,
discipling believers, including students and adults, encouraging and equipping them for service for Jesus
